The Pedal House is a full service and sales bike shop located in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. We love Wyoming and we love riding bikes. It really is that simple. In the shop we fix and sell bicycles. For over 30 years we have established ourselves as the #1 shop in Wyoming for anything bicycle related. Our service is what we are known for, with reasonable labor rates, in house certified suspension service, certified E-Bike service, and inventive solutions to any bike problem. But being highly trained professionals is only part of our responsibility to Laramie….

…Outside of the shop we work to represent our community’s interests in the following ways:

  • Supporting the advancement of Women’s and Youth Cycling

  • Researching and preserving Wyoming’s Cycling History (The Laramie Bicycle Club was the oldest bicycle club this side of Chicago.)

  • We get shovels in the dirt! We work with the USFS and the local trail group Trail F.A.I.R.I.E.s to build and maintain local summer & winter trails.

  • We work to protect Public Lands and expand recreational opportunities around Laramie for our diverse and growing population.

Established in 1990

“The Pedal House was originally located at 110 Grand Ave (current home of [Blacktooth Brewing Co.]). In 1991 Doug (Mike’s Brother) and I moved into the current location at 207 South First. After extensive remodeling we turned the former saloon and brothel into a bicycle shop. We like to think that the early members of the Laramie [Bicycle club] spent enjoyable leisure hours at this same location. Thomas Stevens, former Laramie resident, and first to bicycle across the United States and then around the world may have satisfied his thirst and enjoyed the therapeutic hands of one of the working girls that used to reside upstairs.”

Mike Lowham, Founder and former owner of the Pedal House
